Touching the Temple for Jenna & Our Family

We made a special trip to the Sacramento Temple for a session and to pray for Jenna that her surgery would go well and that the surgeons would be guided to do their best. After the session we walked around the beautiful temple grounds...we even showed Tyler and Chase the dry rock river bed we helped to create when they were doing the final touches for the landscaping...Tyler didn't think it looked really pretty in that area -- and well, he was right especially as you walk around the temple and see all the beautiful flowers and beautiful landscaping... -- not to mention the temple itself!President Monson said that "if we touch the temple then the temple will bless us" Chase wasn't sure about touching the temple, but was happy to touch the fountain for Aunt Jenna.

It was a beautiful day and a beautiful experience to be able to go through the temple with family and to pray for Jenna and her surgery.

Ethan's Birthday #4

Along with the waterslide part of Ethan's party, we did have a birthday cake and presents. Here are a few of the pics of that part of his birthday. Because we were celebrating Bella's birthday, too there were two candles one for Ethan #4 and one for Bella #1! :)I like the pic in black and white. Thought Ethan looked really cute.

Waterslide for Ethan's B-Day

For Ethan's birthday Ryan graciously offered to bring the waterslide over from his parent's home. The three amigos had a wonderful time on the slide. I think Ethan got the biggest jump!This is the same picture, but it gives a better perspective of how high Ethan jumped...

The pictures in the pool as the boys were coming down the slide were some of the funnest pictures I took. I loved their faces and the water "frozen" in the pictures.

Tyler looks like he is having so much fun. I took so many pictures and it was hard to pick the few/many that I did select.

This is one of my favorite shots. I love the way Tyler came down the slide and then when he hit the bottom, I got a great picture of the waves that he created as the water went over him...

This was probably the first picture I took, and Ryan was filling up the bottom of the pool with the hose and the water wasn't hooked up to the top and so Ryan pulled up the hose and sprinkled some water down the slide as Tyler was heading down! Loved the pic of Tyler's face.
